Radishes, Black Beans and a Kitty Kat

Here are some pretty pictures of tasty things we’ve grown in recent months. It’s been very dry in Sydney, we’ve managed to keep the water up and get some nice radishes, black beans, broad beans, Kale, Coriander and Basil. We have also saved hundreds and hundreds of lettuce and rocket seeds.

We were also lucky enough to cat-sit this cute little fluff ball, Frieda Mae. She stayed for 3 months from July to October. We grew very attached to her. She was very playful, stayed in at night and, fortunately, didn’t bring home any of the native birds as trophies!

We do love Frieda and we miss her now she’s gone! She was our first farm pet!
